Sonship School of the Firstborn

SONSHIP SCHOOL OF THE FIRSTBORN

Our Vision

TRANSFORMING SERVANTS INTO SONS

Welcome to the virtual community of Sonship School of the Firstborn (SSOTF), a ministry-minded school in the church.  Our One-year Course is focused on the discipline of ministry studies, and is aimed at individual Christians, ministers of the Gospel, and local assemblies throughout the world.  Our Emphasis is not on accreditation but on certification of able ministers, equipped with sound doctrine, so they will be able to teach others what they have been taught.  Our Desire is to impact our communities, to the degree that people not only hear but also see the Gospel animated in our very lives—and to become what Jesus said we would be: witnesses for Him.  If your desire is to make your calling and election sure, perhaps SSOTF is the place for you. Please feel free to peruse our online network.

The following are the minimum requirements necessary for completion of the one-year biblical studies program at Sonship School of the Firstborn. After fulfilling the minimum one-year requirement, each student will receive a “Certificate of Completion.”

  • Regular Class attendance
  • Payment of Tuition
  • Completion of weekly lab reports
  • Completion of Outside Assignments
  • Completion of Tests

Mission

Sonship School of the Firstborn (SSOTF) is a Christian Bible school in the Pentecostal tradition that:

  • Integrates education and service through a worldwide network of extended studies programs, making Christian education available whenever, wherever.
  • Provides access for ministerial education and training.
  • Produces curricular materials for both classroom and external studies programs.
  • Serves the local church and Christian community through evangelism, discipleship, and leadership training.

The mission of Sonship School of the Firstborn is to take the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the world, using available media, curricula, consultation, and cooperation.  Our program is aimed at individual Christians, ministers of the Gospel, and local assemblies throughout the world.

The overarching goal of Sonship School of the Firstborn is to impact our communities to the degree that people not only hear, but also see the Gospel animated in our very lives; and to become what Jesus said we would be-witnesses for Him.

Doctrine

The doctrinal position of Sonship School of the Firstborn is expressed in the following statement of faith. We believe …

  • The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
  • There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; the atoning sacrifice of His death, burial, and resurrection; His future return to earth to rule over the nations.
  • The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
  • In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
  • The redemptive work of the cross of Christ provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
  • The baptism with the Holy Spirit is given to Believers who ask for it, with evidence of speaking in other tongues.
  • In the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
  • In water baptism by immersion and observance of the Lord’s Supper.
