Dr Robert J. Poole, Jr.

Dr. Robert J. Poole, Jr. is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. On March 11, 2001, he and his wife Sheila founded Destiny Christian Center where God has commissioned them to “Illuminate the pathway to purpose through the teaching of God’s Word.” In July of 2002, the Lord graced them to meet the late Apostle Nathaniel Holcomb of Christian House of Prayer in Copperas Cove, Texas. From that meeting a covenant connection was made and as of October 26, 2003, Dr. Poole was officially ordained by Apostle Holcomb, thus becoming a part of the Covenant Connections International family. In June 2007 he graduated from the Sonship School of the Firstborn at the Christian House of Prayer in Killeen, Texas. In September of 2007, Sonship School of the Firstborn was started at Destiny Christian Center in Las Vegas. In June of 2011 he received his doctorate in ministry and pastoral care from the Minnesota School of Theology. It’s All About Him!

He has been married for 31 years and God has graced him to minister very candidly to marriages. In particular, God has anointed him to minister to men on how to minister to their wives. He practically and powerfully shares insights of wisdom in his books entitled Treat Her Like a Lady and The Secondary Wife. He has also co-authored a devotional with his wife entitled DayLight Devotional.

The Lord has truly blessed his relationship with his wife Sheila, and Dr. Poole very powerfully fulfills Ephesians 5:25 loving her as Christ loves the church and daily gives his life for her. Through their union, God has blessed them with two beautiful born-again children: Joshua and Shekinah.
